These are something new and altogether different that I’ve been working on.  It’s been so fun to break away from the organic qualities of paint and work with a more graphic one.  I use personal photos and photocopied images I’ve collected and print them on paper.  Then using a variety of supplies, integrate them into a background I’ve created.  There’s an element of surprise with these that is challenging and exciting.  I let the colors and textures of the background direct me on what images to use.  I love the pushing and pulling of colors and learning how to manipulate the viewers focus.  How these continue to develop is anyone’s guess!
